Meet The Artist

Hi! My name is Emma and I am an Artist from Cumbernauld, which is a sad little run down town in Central Scotland. From a very young age I always enjoyed drawing and was regularly taking part in projects at school that would require artwork of some sort. I began my artistic journey studying animation, However, I quickly realized that 3D Animation was not what I wanted to do and I much preferred 2D Traditional animation.

After college I juggled my day job in a supermarket while I continued my art in the evening, and eventually began to design my own products and apply for markets and conventions. My first stall was at a My Little Pony convention and from there I set up my online store on Etsy where I could continue to sell the products I had designed. 

 

​In 2019, I explored children's book illustration, a longtime dream of mine, and was thrilled when a client from a Facebook group out to me for a project! This motivated me to create more pieces for my portfolio, including illustrations based on Aesop's Fables.​ Now its 2025 and I am a mother to a beautiful little boy, and reading books to him is what inspired me to illustrate books again after taking a break to work on my own business. I hope that one day my books will be features in stores for all children to enjoy.
